Giorgio Armani
Giorgio
Armani was born in Italy, 1934. He was known as the most authoritative names in
Italian ready-to-wear design. Founded his passion in fashion, Armani left the
medical school at the University of Piacenza to follow the fashion business.
Armani became a buyer for the La Rinascete chain in Milan. In 1964, Nino
Cerruti, ower of Hitman, the Italian men’s clothing producer recognized Armani’s
ability in clothing materials. Thus, Nino Cerruti acquired Armani to
restructure the company’s approach. After six years worked with Cerruti, Armani
developed his menswear tailor skills. In 1960, Armani began a relationship with
Sergio Galeotti. In 1973, they opened a design office in Milan. In 1975,
Giorgio Armani presented his first collection of men’s ready-to-wear and women’s
line for the same season. The keys of Armani’ style are clean, simple, and
beyond. His design enhances the personality of the person who wore it. The
innovation in selecting fabric is always the distinction of Armani’s collection
for men and women.
